Enjoy your stay
One sentence says it all: We ask our guests to behave in a way, that the other guests and our neighbours are not disturbed. Following some details anyways.

Damage, contamination, lost of room keys, bail
If parts of the house or the inventory are contaminated or damaged, or if the room key or the badge is lost, the damage has to be paid by the causer. Compensation payments are to be paid immediately in cash (for groups, the leaders have to take responsibility). Theft and vandalism are being reported to the Police. The YMCA Hostel Basel is allowed to ask guests, especially groups, for a CHF 200 bail. The bail has to paid immediately if asked for. The bail is paid back on check-out. |

If you don’t obey these rules, the YMCA Hostel Basel is allowed to quit the contract. The Guest still has to pay for the booked nights, even if the contract is quit.
