Cancellation / Termination
The guest is obliged to inform the hostel as soon as possible of any changes and reductions in writing. A cancellation by the guest is valid if he has received a written confirmation of the cancellation from hostel. The deadline for cancellations is at 19:00 clock the night before. (Local time)
For individual reservations
The cancellation until 3 Days prior to arrival is without penalty. From the 2nd Day before arrival a cancellation fee of the amount of the first 2 nights will be charged. In case of early departure the first 2 nights of the canceled stay will be charged.
For group reservations
A cancellation of up to 10% of the persons remains without penalty until the 31st Days prior to arri-val. In case of cancellation of more than 10% respectively a complete cancellation will be charged CHF 100.00 processing fee. From 30 Day before arrival, cancellation costs in the amount of 50%, from 7 Day before arrival 90%, and on the arrival day of 100% of the total price will be charged.
For exhibition bookings
A cancellation until 91 days before arrival remains at no cost. From the 90th Day prior to arrival 50%, from 30th Day 80% and from the 7th day 100% of the package price will be charged.
The hostel reserves the right to cancel a reservation if:
• Force majeure or other circumstances make foreign debt impossible to fulfill the contract
• Room is booked under false pretenses i.e. regarding the person or the purpose
• A deposit required is not made on time
• The guest does not pay the price upon arrival
• The guest violate the house rules, such as the carriage of pets or smoking in the house |
