Cancellation
The regulation for cancellation by individual guests conforms with legal regulations. On-line reservations can be cancelled in writing within 24 hours.
Groups are asked to submit the final number of guests to the YMCA Hostel at least one week before arrival. Up to one week before arrival a maximum of 10% of the number of the originally booked guests can be cancelled and be exempt from charges. Cancellations beyond that number incur cancellation fees: in the case of cancellation more than three months prior to arrival: CHF 50 handling charge; in the case of cancellation within three months prior to arrival: 25% of the reservation amount; in the case of cancellation less than one month before arrival:
50% of the reservation amount; in the case of less than seven days prior to arrival: 90% of the accomodation price. In the case of cancellation by the YMCA Hostel vis-à-vis booked guests the reasons of the cancellation must be given in writing at least two weeks prior to the arrival date. |
